I think I'm done my I-129F package.. am I missing anything?

Ok... I'm very nervous about actually putting it into the mail, but I have
done alot of research and I think I have it all... Here is what I have, I
will feel better I think if someone tells me "Yes, I think you have
everything, I don't think you're missing anything!"

lol....

Everything in the package is secured with acco clips and two-hole punched
along the top. (I even put re-enforcers on every hole to make sure nothing
could fall out!...yes I AM paranoid ;-) )

Here's the list
-check for $110.00
-Cover letter detailing everything included in the package
-I-129F form
-Addendum to Q. 19 - Letter explaining how we met
-Evidence of personal meeting (photographes of Greg and I together, 2
itineraries accompanied by corresponding ticket stubs)
-Evidence of ongoing relationship (I know it's not required with the I-129F,
but i am including it anyways to avoid RFE!!!! - picture of our hands
together, with my engagement ring showing, 4 emails from different times
over the past 2 years, and a few phone bills)
-G-325A's, 1 for Greg, one for me
-2 ADIT photos - 1 for Greg, one for me
-2 letters stating intent to marry - one for Greg, one for me
-2 letters certifying all photocopies of documents are exact, unaltered
copies and originals are available upon request (in nicer wording of course
hehe)
-2 birth certificates (Gregs and mine)
-my passport (just for good measure)

is that it??? do I have everything????

Re: I think I'm done my I-129F package.. am I missing anything?

Sounds like you have it all. The letter re the copies is not required as the I-129F clearly states to send copies only and that originals will not be returned. The hand pix is nice but can you prove it is your hand? '=)))

Also the bit about the acco clip and two hole punch is over the top. Not necessary but will give you piece of mind that everything remains together.

Remember to mail via a return receipt.

Good Luck

Rette

Re: I think I'm done my I-129F package.. am I missing anything?

Whew!

Thanks for the confirmation that YES, I do have everything. hehe. I just
needed someone who has "been there done that" to tell me that it's FINE.
hehe.

I know the letter about the copies is not required, but I am sending one
anyways because I would rather send it and have them throw it out than not
send it and have them send me an RFE.

The pics of the hands is not the only picture, I have several other pictures
included of Greg and I together where my ring is slightly visible on my left
hand... just thought I would include a close-up as well :)

Actually, the acco clips and the two hole punch is something I read on the
INS website for the NSC(under "Tips for preparing your application"):

"b. Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or
petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in
the file is appreciated."

So, it's not necissary, but "appreciated". I figure, it may not help MY
petition along any faster...(although it might score a brownie point? lol)
but the time it takes them to two-hole punch a million petitions, could be
the time it takes them to PROCESS *1* application... and considering I'm
going through Nebraska... they need ALL THE TIME SAVERS they can get!!!! If
it helps someone else in my situation's petition go 60 seconds quicker, then
it's worth doing, in my opinion.

Plus, it gives me an opportunity to put re-enforcers on all the holes to
make sure nothing falls out when they put it in their binders, which, as you
said, gives me a little peace of mind :-)

My name is Sandra, and I am a paranoid freak of an Alien Fiancee. ;-)

(it's funny... Whenever I'm on the phone with Greg and I'm working on the
immigration papers... he always starts singing the Sting song..."I'm an
Alien, I am a legal Alien, I'm an Englishman in New York...." hehe)

(Nevermind that I'm a Canadian woman moving to Portland, Oregon... Both FAR
different from an Englishman in New York!! hehe)

Thanks again Rete,

-Sandra, off to check over her petition ONE LAST TIME ;-)

Re: I think I'm done my I-129F package.. am I missing anything?

Sandy you have made me laugh. We are 2 of a kind I think, I obsessed over my
that 129F for about 2 weeks, going over and over and over until I finally
just had to mail it....lol... Oh, and the picture of the ring... get this,
I photo copied the "actual ring"...LOL.. then included a copy of it in the
application along with the appraisal. Then paid 2 seperate lawyers to
review the whole package, paid the first one $100, the second one $75. They
both gave minor additions but nothing that would have caused the package to
be bounced. So I know where you are right now. Good luck. My first NOA was
June 5th, still waiting for 2nd NOA but I'm going through Nebraska so who
knows when I'll hear anything. Mark
