Default I need advice please help!

I just found evedence today that my supposedly loving wife only married me for documents. I found several things to prove this. We have been married for 2 years and 2 mos. I met her in the US and she had overstayed a visitor visa by a year. We applied for change of status after we got married. She received her Green card in Sept of 2004. Her son just got his visa and is due here Jan 11th. I just found these documents today. I want a divorce and to recind my affadavits of support for them. Can this be done or am I on the hook for the 10 yrs listed in them?

I am going to move her out on Saturday and change the locks on my house.

I plan to see an attorney but I figured maybe someone on here may have some answers or advice. She has no idea I know this.

I am heartbroken but determined to keep my house.

I am sure I am not the only one ever played like this. Thanks.

You are on the hook.

I'm sure you're not. The issues of divorce/finance/property are not immigration issues. See an attorney who specialises in these matters.

Sorry to tell you this - but you are stuffed.

What documents suggest she was only in it for the greencard? We have had previous posts where people just decided that was the case and caused all kinds of problems for their loving spouse!

The Green Card she has is just conditional. She has to go and renw it in two
years time. If at that time you have divorced, her green card will be
cancelled.

Not true ..If fact once the divorce is final ..she can apply to have the conditions removed immediately even if the two years is not up .

And he is still on the hook until she:

a) dies; or
b) becomes a USC; or
c) departs the US permanently; or
d) can be credited with 40 qualifying quarters of work.

I assume that c) takes effect if she gives up LPR status.
