I have a *FC-029*headache
Hi
I've just been reading past threads, trying to figure out where I can acquire the FC-029 statement. As Jeff (USC) my fiance paid over the internet to download forms rather than have them sent through the mail he only downloaded the ones we initially need; the I-129f and the G-325A. I've been trawling through the USCIS website and I can't find a copy of this form at all, where can we get hold of one? Thanks Sarah |
Re: I have a *FC-029*headache
We never found the form - I think it is outdated now, so we just wrote letter each to the same effect and signed them.
The letter just stated that all photocopies were true & correct copies and that we understand and are prepared to submit originals if an official of the USCIS shall so demand them. Hope that helps, Kris |

FC-029 states that legible photocopies may be submitted of original documents, including Naturalization and Alien Registration Cards. Or you can just include a statement that "copies of documents submitted are exact photocopies of unaltered original documents and I understand that I may be required to submit original documents to an Immigration or Consular official at a later date", sign it, and date it." -or- http://britishexpats.com/forum/showt...hreadid=105561 There's more; try a google search :) |
Re: I have a *FC-029*headache
I just printed that statement myself on a blank sheet of paper, signed it, and dated it. It's no problem.

When you sign the I-129F and the G-325's, there is an inherent statement that everything you are submitting is true. The FC-209 is not necessary. No harm in putting it in -- but is not a requirement. |
