hi,
As part of my k1 (i-129f) I have had a medical in Amsterdam. I was one of
the first people who had to make the medical appointment themselves (this
was done by the consulate until recent).
The x-ray was a piece of cake, although the machine was acting up (I was the
3rd person to have his x-ray taken that day). After paying 45 euro I could
leave.
Then I went to the dokter. It was a good dokter, took the blood really quick
and worked his way trough all the forms as a pro
He checked my lungs,
heartbeat, and my dental care (*blink* :P) it was all okay. The only thing
missing was the BMR (or MMR in English) vacination. I had that (boy that
burns for a few seconds) so I had 2 holes in my body.
Then I went into the town to drink a beer with a friend,
It was realy a piece of cake
hopefully everything will go as smooth on
Decemer 5th when I have my consulate appointment.
I'll keep you up-to-date (on request of another 'Dutchy' as wel)

Congratulations Patrick, you are almost done. Feels so great (I remember)
Can you explain to me what you mean when you say you "had to make the
medical appointment" yourself.
Just how did that go down?
thanks,
Eileen
