Look at DOJ/OIG audit reports and you'll find INS has screwed up it's
automated systems beyond understanding.

Sigh, somehow I guess that shouldn't surprise me. Hey, do you suppose once I get all nice and legal I could get a job with them??

I think it would be wise to hire some petitioners to work there. They would be able to bring a certain quality to work each day that these fools working there now obviously lack.

I can't tell you all how nervous it makes me and my wife, whenever we
have to go to the L.A. INS office. You never know what kind of answer
you will get from the hump sitting behind the counter who doesn't
understand the application we just filled out. Let's post all the
email adresses, and phone numbers and make them very AWARE of the
problems we are facing. It's been a year and a half since our
interview and we have yet to hear anything. As one employee at the INS
office put it, "The INS is like a big conveyor belt and you fell off."
And where am I now? On the bottom of the list.
