Hello everybody,
I have just got my h1b transfer approved. These are the details..
Previous I-94 expiry : Jan 2003
Applied for H1 : Jan 2003 (Texas center)
H1 approved : Oct 2003 (At last!!)
new I-94 Validity : Oct 2003 - Dec 2005.
question-1: The I-94 dates are not continueous. What about my status
between Jan 2003 and Oct 2003.
question-2: The new I-94 number is different from the previous I-94
issued at the port of entry.
Do the above things means some kind of trouble? Can I apply for visa
revalidation in St.Louis with this approved h1 & I-94?
Any reply is appreciated.

Most of that is covered by the pending application. Unfortunately, only
for 240 days. After that, you are still considered in status, but no
longer in automatically extended H-1B. That is, you couldn't simply
continue to work (but you would be able to get an EAD from the local CIS
office. At least in theory)
Regardless, though, CIS gave you a new I-94. That means that even if you
were out of status, they forgave you, and you retroactively are safe.

I think this is a mistake. Don't worry about it. Do staple the two of them
together.

Yes, absolutely.
