I-864 required if applied before 12/19/97
Greetings,
My name is Mohamed Abusharkh. I'm writing on behalf of my father. He
applied for my married brother and sister in US embassy in Kuwait back
in July '97. He received recently two packages that included I-864
(Affidavit Of Support). Since it didn't become law to require this
form until 12/19/97, is he still required to submit this form?
