Default I-864 Question

Hi Guys. I need some clarification with this form. My husband, who will be the sponsor, falls short of the required income by about $1000. Am I able to use my income to supplement his in order to reach the necessary level? Otherwise we will have to use his father as a co-sponsor.

Thanks,
Sarah

Only if you've been living together for the past 6 months, here in the states, I believe.....which doesn't seem to apply to your case. Hopefully I'm wrong about that.

Best Wishes,
Rene
