I-864 income question

Per my federal tax returns last year (2000), my individual income level was approx.
3.5 times the minimum income requirements for the I-864 (based on 2000 poverty
guidelines) for a 2 person household. Since my individual income level was more than
enough last year (the previous two years I also had sufficient income to meet the
minimum requirement as well), do I even need to fill out a I-864A? The documentation
on the I-864 said I *may* need an I-864A if a consular officer deems it necessary
(I'm filing via
DCF). Would my financial situation warrent any additional evidence of
sufficient income?
Also, I am not planning on listing any assets on this form. Will that be a problem,
or should my income level be OK? Just making sure I have all my bases covered before
I go to the embassy and file this stuff!![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
