Default I-864 for AOS in Sacramneto question

do we have to go and get new letters from employer and the bank
for this different affidavit of support or would photocopies do from
the one
we used for our K1 interview? Or does it depend how old they are? Now
it being so close to Tax day do you think
that a tax transcript would be available for the recently filed tax
return?

HI

We filed at SF, and we just sent a photocopy of the last three tax returns (2002,2001,2000), I had the HR person at work give me a new employment letter and I sent a copy of a paystub. We didn't send any bank documents. I believe the employment letter expires after 6 months... and we were within that time frame but since it wasn't a big deal getting another one, I just sent a new employment letter.

In regards to the transcripts.. I believe you can just send the photocopies of the returns,as stated in the instructions... I don't see where it asks specifically for transcripts... However, I could be wrong, we just sent in the paperwork on 2/26/03 and haven't received a word from SF office but they have cashed our checks this week.

GOOD LUCK

Hope someone from Sacramento gives you more concrete advice
