Are you talking about a biometrics appointment?

I expect your son's will follow.

What have you filed with USCIS? Is the notice for an appointment for biometrics? An appointment for green card interview? It's hard to tell what you mean by "appointment" when we don't know what benefit you are seeking.

Not everyone's NOA gets the same attention. They are all treated as separate applications.

We filed I-485 with the USCIS, it does mentioned about biometrics.

But my 11 year old son did not received any notice. Only the three of us.

What is next after biometric?

I'm sure your son will receive a notice in due course.

After you've had you biometrics done, you wait...

At some point you may get notices to appear for interview. However, if yours are employment-based AOS applications, it is possible that you may be approved without interview.

Yes, it's possible for people within the same family to have different immigration timelines.

If your son's appointment still hasn't arrived in a week or so, you might want to ring up USCIS or make an Infopass appointment to check whether it was sent.

Our childrens appointments for biometrics arrived exactly 1 week after our own, so no need to worry yet.
