I-765 Ead Question????
K1 visa holder was granted 90 day EAD at Port of Entry in May 2003, and received stamp in passport.
K1 visa holder married within 90 days, and filed AOS. The 90 day EAD stamp has long since expired, and now foreign spouse is filing I-765, Application For Employment Authorization with District Office of USCIS.
What do you put under Question:
"I am applying for:
? Permission To Accept Employment.
?Renewal of my permission to accept employment(attach previous authorization document)
Also,
Question 11. " Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from INS?
Which INS office?
Results(Granted or Denied--attach all documentation)"
How should the I-765 be filled out?
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has had experience with a similar set of facts and how you handled it.

Re: I-765 Ead Question????
She is requesting permission for employment, she is NOT renewing. The EAD at the POE is non-renewable. She has never applied for an EAD before. I take it she has not worked the past 11 eleven months so be sure that you include a copy of any receipt she may have received when she filed for AOS as proof of her eligibility for the benefit.
