Hi!
I'm in the process of crossing the big pond on my K3 visa. I have to apply
for employment as soon as I'm over there. Does anyone have any experience
about the time it takes until it's granted? I have to tell my potential
employers something about this!
Thanks for your help!

You can read a lot of personal experiences about people with K3 applying for a work permission in the New K3 EAD rollcall threat .... (hope that is the right name for it). Apparently it looks like there is a long waiting time for getting the actual EAD card though. After you applied and waited for 90 days ( I think from the notice date..... ) you can go to your district office, and get an interim EAD card .... you should make sure though, that your district office issues interim EAD's .
So all in all it is at least 90 days of hard waiting time.... and after that you still need to apply for a SSN ....
Hope that helps out!!!!
Willkommen im Club!!!.... and good luck to you!!!!
