Greetings,
I have read the K1 FAQ site and did a little google searching here. I am
99.999999999999% sure of the answer but I wish to 100% in this matter!
The date that triggers the I-751 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS is the second
anniversary of CONDITIONAL PERMANENT RESIDENT status granting, correct? That is if my
honey got her CPR on 9/4/01 then we would do not have to worry until this time next
year. We wed on 6/14/2000 and this has little bearing on the I751 application, true?
Anyway Thanks KA

You got it. Around June 4, 2003 you will be eligible to apply for removal. But don't stop thinking about it yet. Continue to save up all those little things that prove your valid marriage. You will need them for the I-751.

Yes, you are right on both counts. You file 90 days prior to the expiry date on your
conditional green card. You are also right in that the date of your marriage has no
bearing. Go to my removal of conditions webpage for our own experience on the process
and for some very useful links:
