I-751 VSC: Green Card arrived
Hello,
I just want to stop by and thank everyone for being here.
I just came home and found my new Green Card in the mailbox- expiration date 2/20/2017. (Looks funny, feels good... best of all: Citizenship is in reach!)
Well, back to the beginning- thank you for all for being out here, for sharing your thoughts and experiences. This newsgroup has been (and will be) a tremendeous help in my journey.
To make it short: YOU ROCK!!!!
Good Luck!
Rebecca.

So how long did it take? ie. what's the receipt date on the NOA for your
I-751? We sent my wife's I-751 to VSC in November. Wonder if we'll see
hers anytime soon.
Congrats, by the way.

Re: I-751 VSC: Green Card arrived
here's my timeline:
04/27/06 Filed I-751 @ VSC
05/05/06 Extension Letter (NOA1)
08/25/06 RFE from VSC
11/13/06 UPS'd evidence
12/13/06 APPROVED
12/29/07 Biometrics
2/28/07 Green Card arrived
Things would have probably been quicker if we had not gotten RFE'd (and if I had responded to the RFE in a more timely manner ).
There seem to be administrative differences for each state- you might remember that I started my I-485 experience in Boston (if I remember it correctly both you and I had the same concerns regarding a missing NOA 2 before the AOS interview)... My new field office is in Manchester, NH. Thus, my timeline probably will be different from your wife's
Anyhow- best of luck to both of you!!!
Rebecca.

I don't quite understand the dates you listed in your timeline. 04/32/07?
04/33/07? Can you explain?
Yes, my wife and I had the problem of missing NOA for the I-129, but it
wasn't an issue for her AOS and it was approved no problem. I take it that
it wasn't an issue for you either?

Re: I-751 VSC: Green Card arrived
Hi Eric,
don't know what happened to my timeline... let's try again
04/27/06 Filed I-751 @ VSC
05/05/06 Extension Letter (NOA1)
08/25/06 RFE from VSC
11/13/06 UPS'd evidence
12/13/06 APPROVED
12/29/07 Biometrics
2/28/07 Green Card arrived
Regarding the missing NOA2- yeah, this did not impact any other application so far- I was just getting nostalgic...
Good luck,
REbecca.

Wow. That's really bizarre. I usually read this group on Usenet and there
your timeline dates show up funny (4/32/07, 04/33/07). But when I look at
the same posts on BritishExpats.com, they look fine. Guess I'll have to
report it to the BE admins.
