I-751 Update
Hey guys
Got this today online...why is it taking so long to get my appointment? I didn't get any RFE's so fingers crossed...this is a divorce waiver! https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...6e51e6ecf.jpeg |
Re: I-751 Update
You do realize patience is required with USCIS, right?
My case was set to 'Ready to be scheduled for interview' for over 13 months, and that was back in 2018 so, no RFE's and more importantly... No pandemic. |
Re: I-751 Update
Oh wow, sorry buddy! May I ask - were you filing under the divorce waiver also?

Nope, although sometimes I wish it was  |
Re: I-751 Update
Normal adjudication of an I-751 can take from 6 months to 2 years. Ours took a year back in 2006. It is one of the less important of all USCIS processes as the seeker of the benefit remains a permanent resident until adjudication of the I-751. They are given a paper notice that their status is valid for 12 - 18 months and can obtain a new I-551 in their passport or another notice if the first notice expires.
