Default I-751 and Unemployment Benefits

From someone recently laid off, does anyone know if filing for
unemployment benefits will adversely affect the I-751 (removal of
conditions) processing? Is it going to raise some red flags somewhere?

You can apply for Unemployment Benefits without fearing jeopardizing your I-751. UB are not means tested and you are entitled to them as long as you worked the required quarters.

Unemployment benefits is not a means tested benefit - it is insurance that
your company paid for you. Take it, you've earned it. It doesn't impact the
I-751 at all and it certainly doesn't go against the I-864.

Andy.
