I-751 Timeline: Nebraska
Hi,
Just thought I'd share our I-751 timeline so far:
19th September 2003: Mailed the I-751 packet of forms, certified mail with a return receipt.
21st September 2003: Beginning of the 90 day period before Jennie's green card expires. We posted the forms 2 days early, so they should reach Nebraska in the first few days of this 90 day period.
25th September 2003: Got the return receipt post card in the mail. Our forms arrived at the BCIS on September 22nd at 7am and were signed for.
26th September 2003: Received a I 767 Notice of Action from the BCIS. It's a receipt notice for the $145. It also extends my alien card for 1 year - employment & travel authorized. Processing our forms will take at least 6 months. If we haven't heard from them in 8 months we should contact them.
