I-751 through VSC

I-751 through VSC
I don't really have a question.
I haven't seen posts about VSC I-751s lately, so I thought I'd make a current space for them here.
I guess I'm just opening this post as a record-keeper or a timeline, or a ranting space for my frustration.
Doing a basic search on the forum I arrived at the following approximate timeline (as regulars know, we often occupy ourselves with completely meaningless and futile experiments of these kind):
According to other people's experiences a few months ago, after they filed their I-751, it took this long for:
3 weeks - NOA to arrive
1 month and a half - Biometrics request to arrive
1 month - Biometrics appointment to be granted
1 month - Approval notice to arrive
My timeline so far:
November 6 - I-751 was overnighted
November 7 - Arrived at location
November 10 - Check cashed
...and nothing. It's December 5, a whole month, and not even a NOA.
I know full well other people's timelines are not going to be my own, and what was true a few months ago for VSC may not be true now.
Plus the mail around the holidays is unreliable and crazy (I lost 2 hours of my life yesterday at the USPS office just to pick a package).
I'm just sitting pretty... waiting... sighing... obsessively checking my mail... maybe I should occupy myself with gift shopping and wrapping.
Happy Holidays nice people of the forum!

Hi Becs......
this is Mr. Pink's timeline so far, although we are going through NSC so I think this might be comparing apples and oranges.
10/18/06: mailed I-751
10/20/06: package received at NSC
10/23/06: check cashed
10/26/06: notice date on NOA
11/01/06: received NOA/extension letter in mail
11/04/06: received biometrics appt. letter for 11/14
11/14/06: biometrics appt. ----right index fingerprint and photos taken
Nothing else for us so far, but then again it's a lot quicker than the 8 months it took for our I-129F process.
Good luck, and chin up!

Hi SecretGarden! *wave*
Yup, at least now we're living together and it takes less time. There was nothing harder than waiting for the whole K1 petition. Everything else has been a breeze compared to that...

Remember me? I used to post here as Endymion in 2003 and we both got stuck with an RFE at VSC with our I-129's at the same time.
Guess what- they did it again (at least to me...).
Here's my timeline...
04/27/06 Filed I-751 @ VSC
05/05/06 Received 1- year extension letter
08/25/06 RFE from VSC
11/13/06 UPS'd additional evidence to VSC
11/14/06 VSC received evidence
11/15/05 waiting begins
Good luck with everything!!!
Rebecca.

So, what happened to the Endymion handle?
Wow, it took you two months to send them the evidence back? What was the RFE for?

Well, well, well... I forgot my password and never was able to retrieve Endymion via email 'cause I had to de-activate my old email address once I moved to the US. Stuff happens- especially to me.
God knows what the RFE was for, I had submitted all kind of evidence in my inital petition, probably the lack of joint utility bills or so . Sharon and Mel's postings helped me alot to understand what might be going on.
It's kind of bad that it took me so long to send in more evidence, though. Just glad I got the stuff in before the deadline .
Hope all is well with you!
Good Luck!
Rebecca.
