Re: I-751 - Removing Un-conditional status
Mines in Cal. I phoned this morning and they are doing a service check on it. because its out of the 6 months time frame. I got a tracking number and told i will hear within 45 days.
Yes i do travel on it at least twice a week. Hence the ink dissapearing. I have gone thru phases of walking thru and phases of going to secondary. Dont worry about it, all they are doing is checking in the computer that u have filed and the status. Find out more in secondary than waiting to find out with the post. . I sent in Feb, did Biometric in March and here I am sitting silently ((not)) and waiting. Had out problems along the way with the kids. But I seem to be ok with my letter. Their letter has caused us massive problems because it looks so unofficial. Kelly was refused on a flight once - because her green card was expired and they didnt like the look of the extension letter. Oh well got that sorted out.
I will be applying for citizenship before I get it i am sure. : ) Oh well at least its in the works. that is all i care about.

I'm just wondering which service centre you applied to, seen as it is taking such a long time? I did biometrics today and I applied to the Vermont Service Centre. I'm looking at their time lines, and it says 6 months...

mine is the california service centre. I did call the help line last week and they said i was out of the time line.. 6 months. They sent of a sevice request. said I should hear within 45 days. My biometrics went really quick too. Just went rather slow after.
