Default I-751 Question

Hello all,

I will have to apply to remove my conditional status in February 2007. It looks like it can take up to 6 months for the new issued GC (Green Card) to arrive. This would indicate that my current GC will be expired for 3 months before I get the new one. Does this then mean that I will not be able to travel outside the U.S. until I receive the new card?

Are you aware that this forum has a search feature if you post from BE? Did you do any research at all before posting this question? I'm guessing no, because if you did... you wouldn't have needed to post at all. Let me guess... you're one of those people who likes to have spoon fed information rather than take responsibility on your own, right?

You'll receive a letter from USCIS, extending your GC for 1 year. You can travel using your expired GC plus this letter.
