A week from Monday, the I-751 will be sent. I have lots of paper here
to send to them, hopefully it's a good enough variety.
So now, how do I assemble it to mail?
Are they clipped together somehow?
In a certain order?
Does each page require a little sticker indicating my husband's name?
I take it that a return receipt is a good choice to make?
I am sending this onto Nebraska. How's the timeline going? If it
takes longer than the 90 days, an extension for the Green Card is
given so he can work?
Thanks for your help.

I can recount what we did with our I-751 to simplify matters for us and for the service center.
We placed each document in order starting with identification first. Second, tax information (transcripts for the missing years between CPR and Removal and banking information. Then work information, i.e. employer letters stating beneficiaries and emergency contact information. After that we put the affirmed letters from family and friends and one from me. And then we put in items that showed our cohabitation and social commingling of our lives, i.e. utility bills, car insurance, credit cards, anniversary cards and envelopes, magzine subscriptions, membership in various organizations, etc.
Then we photocopied each and every page of the pile.
When completed we two hole punched everything at the top, placed index tabs between each category, slipped everything on to an ACCO fastener and added an index sheet listing what was in each index and put that on top. I used two clear plastic sheets, one on front and one in back and closed it up.
I did the exact same thing for the copy pile so that we always have a set exactly as sent to the INS.
When mailing I paperclipped the I-751 and check to the plastic cover and sent everything certified, return receipt requested.
Within ten days received an I-797 from the service center extending my husband's green card for one year.

Here's the link we used for tips on how to assemble the packet:
http://149.101.23.2/graphics/fieldof...al/index.htm#H
In a certain order?
Here's the link we used for the format for the cover letter:
http://k1.exit.com/I751.html
The assembling link should give you the order in which to place the documents.
I take it that a return receipt is a good choice to make?
Most certainly. We went so far as to send ours by Registered Mail with return receipt, although not absolutely necessary.
I am sending this onto Nebraska. How's the timeline going?
The timeline appears to be very quick for Nebraska right now. So get your application in as soon as you are permitted to do so
If it

given so he can work?
You'll get it before the 90 days is up. In the unlikely event you don't , you could visit the INS with proof of filing and inquire as to the status of your application. They can check it on their computers. Don't worry about it. You are not out of status once your petition has been filed.
Thanks for your help.
