Re: I-751 Nebraska Timeline
An interesting note on the letter received: They invite the alien to come in with 3
ADIT photos and apply for the 10 year card. They also advise the alien to have the passport endorsed ( "endorsed" is their word, pretty unusual for US bureacracy to use this term) for travel before the PR card arrives. No mention of having to bring in the expired card to surrender. Perhaps what happened to you is simply procedure rather than oversight. Thanks for your response. Re: I-751 Nebraska Timeline
Congratulations! I have filed my I751 on 09/20/2001 with Nebraska as well so I should
be receiving a letter shortly too. It is immpossible to get them on the phone. When is the best time to call? Everytime I use the automated system it says my case number cannot be found. What does this means? Thank you, Alecia. > > > Here is a timeline for okonami applied I-751on Sept 8, 2001 Approval / removed > > > conditions letter March 9, 2002 processing time in Nebraska: Six months > > > > > > > > > > > |
Re: I-751 Nebraska Timeline
I was able to get through two days in a row at around 11am est........before that
I'd tried for weeks with no luck. Automated doesn't list the I-751 cases....I asked about that. Ours too was in September 2001 .....the 12th at NSC. Lisa http://www.britsintheus.com/marriedn...meline-aos.htm |
Re: I-751 Nebraska Timeline
My feeling is that you should be getting your approval any time now. The automated
line does not give information on I-751. And the NOA specifically states, don't call unless you don't hear from them for 12 months. So we didn't. As you will read from a previous thread of Steve & Lisa, they did get a real person to talk to, but all they got was misinformation. So just hang in there, Nebraska is getting pretty consistent with their I-751 approvals. Six months, from what I'm reading here and from our own experience. Read this link: http://www.masudafunai.com/english/p...up10-25-01.asp Here is something from that link that should interest you. 1.. I-751 - If I-751 filed without any documentation or a waiver is filed, then case transferred to local office. I-751 filed with sufficient documentation supporting bona fides of marriage will be approved and computer does not select a certain percentage for interview anymore. Adjudication currently taking 5 months and NSC is working to reduce processing time to 3 months. Transfer notice for interview will not be issued. If more than 6 months has passed since filing, then it can be assumed that the case has been transferred. Hope this helps.
