Default I-751 Nebraska info

Just thought I'd share my experience with I-71 application via
Nebraska Service Center:

Applied September 2003.
Received Notice of Action shortly after. It stated that processing
should take about 6 months and if I hadn't heard from them in 8 months
I may contact "this office".

Now that over 8 months have passed, I called the number for the
Service Center at the bottom of the Notice of Action. This number has
been disconnected or is not in service, according to the phone co.
So, I tried the online Case Status Search at the CIS website. It said
my Receipt Number could not be found. Huh?!

So, I called the national enquiry 800 number. After finally reaching a
human, I was informed that Nebraska is currently processing I-751s
from *January 2003*. So the wait continues.
When asking about the missing record according to the Online Case
Status Search, I was told that no I-751 statuses are available online.
It's a pity they couldn't tell you that on that page.

So, hopefully that's useful information to someone else and not old
news to the good folks of this group.

Had the same problem with phone/online status

I filed I-751 Petition in Spet. 2002 jointly with my ex-husband.
However, things went very bad and we got divorced. Now I received a
letter of interview from INS in June (next Tuesday).

Can you please let me know how your interview went the any
suggestions? I wonder if I need to file a separate one on a waiver -
married in good faith? I need to do this during interview or before?
If I went there myself, will teh officer just deny my petition and
finalize me as deporting process?

I'd appreciate it very much?
