Default I-751 filed - letter , ??? travel before card is issued?

Hi all,
I filed for the I 751 March 2003 and recieved a NOA dated April 4 2003
stating in January that my Alien card has been extended 12 months.
In January 2004 I finally recvied a NOA that reads: Creation of Record of
Lawful Permananet Resisdence
Welcome notice type
It also states:
Welcome to the United States, etc.
We will soon mail you a new Permanent resident card, you should receive it
within the next three weeks, if not please contact the BCIS Customer service
center etc.
Has anyone received this letter?
No card showed up- I called BCIS and they told me I had to wait 90 days to
enquire and then send in an inquiry on form I-551 as they could tell me
nothing about the card status without this form. I cannot send this form
until April 7 2004- at the 90 day mark
.

GRRR now I am frustrated as three things have happened:
-the filing for the I751 was done and I was still married to my spouse and
we filed jointly with no problems.
- we are now divorced as of March 2004 and I am getting married again in
April 2004
-We are going on a honeymoon and I need to travel outside the USA-
The original NOA from April 2003 states "your alien card is extended 1
year- employment and travel are authorized." Is my card extended from the
date of my original notice of April 4 2003 or from the date on my card which
is June 2003?
I assume it is June as it states the alien card in the NOA. If not does it
expire on April 4 2004?
Does anyone have this scenario? Will I have to go to a local office and
extend the NOA or get an additional travel permit to see me through the
honeymoom time?
Any help is appreciated- I have not seen any letters or NOA's here on the
newsgroup that are reading like mine.
Thanks to all who can help!
