Default I-751 Filed 40 days ago no NOA

Hello Friends
I sent my I-751 on April 19th 2007 and was recieved on April 20th via
FEDex Overnight. It has been 40 days and my check has not been cashed. I
called the service center and they said CSC is requesting for 45 days
waiting period.

I see other friends here on the forum sent after me and have recieved
the reciept notice.

Shall I send another I-751 or what shall i do?

regards
Syed

If the waiting period is 45 days, then you should wait at least 45 days before worrying about it.

You didn't say if it was 45 calendar days or 45 business days, but I would go by business days, just to be safe.

DO NOT send another I-751 packet unless they ask you to.

Hi Syed,

If I recall, another poster on here waited 35 days for her check to be cashed. Seems the service centers are slowing down a lot this summer. Just hang in there.

Best Wishes,
Rene

I sent my I-751 on March 30th, 2007. They cashed the check on April 4th.
Since then, nothing. No NOA, no biometrics, etc.

I finally gave up and called the 1-800 number on Friday, May 25th. They
transferred me to someone ("I don't have enough authority to access that
system", or something). I spoke to a VERY nice officer, who was prepared to
give me a complete rundown of I-751 proceedings, most of which I already
knew, and she commented "you seem to know this process quite well"..

Upshot: she said, wait 90 days before I make an Infopass appointment. Also,
biometrics handles "lost" appointment notices on Wednesdays, so, if I was
prepared to claim I lost my notice, I could just go any Wednesday. And
interesting proposition, that one :-) She also assured me that my case was
received in time, it was in the system, address was correct, etc. So, I
didn't have much to worry about.

So, I would say, give it a bit longer.

One more comment: if you look on uscis.gov at the processing dates, CSC is
currently claiming Nov 13, 2006 for I-751. So, you still have a ways to go
:-)

I filed I-751 on April 19 2007 and today is June 23 2007 nothing from
USCIS CALIFORNIA CENTER. I called and they asked me to file again. I
have the fedex signed reciept by N. Labone(name of the person at USCIS)
who recieved my application at california service center. They haven't
cashed my check.

Unfortunately I am filing again tomorrow june 25th 2007 with an attorney
this time and paying 1200 dollars fess just for nothing.

My GC is expiring on 30th june 2007.

any sugestion from anyone.

You *are* paying $1,200 for nothing... why on earth are you filing again? The I-751 is a low priority application because your status does not change while the I-751 is being processed... and you can still file for naturalization when you are eligible... whether or not the I-751 has been adjudicated. Your card expires... your status doesn't.

You don't need to pay a lawyer anything - thi is $$$ down the drain. And I don't think re-filing would be a good idea at this stage.

Make an Infopass at your local CIS and find out what has happened to your petition. If you have proof that it has been received, they will eventually find it.

Okay Guys here is the update

I refiled I-751 with an attorney on June 22nd 2007, I recieved the
NOA on July 8th. I recieved my Biometrics appointment date on
August 2nd 2007.

As uggested by other well wishers here I went with an Infopass and they
told me that my file is not in there system and presently they cannot
comment anything.

My GC was expiring on June 30th 2007 so i filed again on 22nd June 2007
and this time it went smoothly.

Thanks for all your support.
