Default I-751 extension

I filed my I-751 in Oct of 2003. Received my one year extension (to 1/16/05). The NSC is currently processing June of 2003, so I suppose it's getting close.

I don't plan on travelling anywhere anytime soon. Do I need to get a new stamp (or something) prior to 1/16/05, or is it just my card that is expired, and not my status, so as long as I stay put until they work my case I'm ok?

Thank you,
Jeremy

Or file for naturalization. I've read that that will help kick start your approval.

Your status is extended automatically until your I-751 is adjudicated. Unless you need proof of status for employment or travel reasons, there is no need to get the stamp in your passport.

Hi:

If you want, make an InfoPass appointment to get a stamp.
