Default I-751 - CSC Check Cashed

Hi,
I recently filed the I-751 at the CSC for my wife. They recieved it on Janurary 19th and I just saw that the check was cashed on January 27th. I saw previous posts which stated that the certified mail reciept and the cashed check was sufficient to make an infopass appointment and get the I-551 stamp in my wifes passport, is this correct?

The reason is we want to travel in early April and her GC expires in the middle of March. I know we still have plenty of time, but I want to make sure she has the stamp in her password as soon as possible. Is it too early to try to get the stamp without the NOA, should I wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive or can I make an appointment now? I figure by the time my appointment day comes either I will get the NOA or it will already be 4 weeks since they recieved it and they will give me a stamp anyways, figuring the NOA is late. Ofcourse I don't want to irritate them either

Thanks for any help in advance,
Daniel

Default Re: I-751 - CSC Check Cashed

The NOA will state that her green card is extended for one year from the date of the expiration of the green card in her possession. Not all district offices will give you an I-551 stamp regardless of your reasons for wanting it as the letter is sufficient for travel and employment.
