Hello,
I have been reading this formum for months by now and I must say it has been a tremendeous help!

*I filed my I-751 with VSC in July 2006.
*Received NOA a couple of weeks later.
*Received ASC Biometrics Appointment letter to go to my local service center.

Ok,, as I have been reading here, all most everybody gets sent to tho take their biometrics AFTER their get their Approval notice...??? Has the process changed?

*The guy who took my prints/pic/signature said that this is for my new card??? ( 10 y. card) is it possible without an approval notice first?

Please if you have expreienced the same let me know.. I would appreciate it...

Anything is possible. Perhaps the NOA was lost in the mail. Have you checked the status online for the I751. Recently people have stated that it is now an option.

Yes, I have checked the status online. It hasn't changed. It just says that the I-89 has been receieved at the service center. thats all...

I have the same situation as you....
They have changed their process ... They used to send the approval letter first but now as soon as you submit you 751 they will ask you to go to the biometrics appointment.

So I guess I am just going to wait. They can still ask us to go to the interview, right?
