I-751 Approved CSC
Our I-751 was approved after about 10 1/2 months. We have since moved across
the country and our approval letter was forwarded (despite the fact we
supplied the BCIS our new address over 4 months ago, they still sent it to
our old address!)
For those that have been asking the question, here is basically what we
supplied as evidence with the original application: Copy of our babies birth
certificate, copies of bank statements from a sample of months to show joint
finances, samples of envelopes mailed to us with both our names, copies of
airline tickets showing joint vacations --included a couple of photos at
beach & Disney World showing us enjoying said vacations together, copy of
credit card statements with both our names on them. Copies of health
insurance showing we were all covered by my family plan. We did try to use
items from various times from first married to filing of application. Note
everything was a copy, not the original.
Items we DID NOT include were: Property ownership or lease papers (since we
were living in a house I had rented for many years we never changed the
lease), and since my wife does not drive, we did not have a jointly owned
auto or insurance for her, also did not include "letters" from friends.
Hope this helps those waiting.
