Default i-751

Hi Everyone-

I was married to USC and when I came to US things went bad and she applied for divorce and got from the court. I applied to i-751 to remove conditions and went to the interview but they said its not enough proof and they gave me sixty days to get more proof that i was married in a good faith.

what should I do?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Give them more evidence that you were married in good faith.

Start gathering more proof that you were married in good faith, in addition to what you turned in before. Without knowing what you gave them as evidence, it's hard to tell what you might be lacking.

Best Wishes,
Rene

Yup... I've got to agree with Mr. F. on this. You should give them proof that the marriage was entered into in good faith. If you don't have such proof... well, things aren't going to go well for you.

Hi:

You have two options:

Give them more; or
Tell them to adjudicate on what they have.

If they deny the application, the application can be renewed before the immigration judge when you are placed in removal proceedings. BTW, the "burden of proof" is kind of ON THE GOVERNMENT in removal proceedings [I say "kind of" because the law is actually a litle fuzzy]. I've never lost a renewed waiver before the court.

Thanks Folinskyinla,

I'm getting more documentation to prove that I was entered in a marriage in a Good faith.
