Because of the way Fiance(e) Visa works, they needs to make sure that you
don't become "Public Charge" to the US soil and hence need this I-134 form.
Yes, it should be notarized as well.

Karl,
They need more than just the form. Some consulates require tax returns, bank letters, employer letter & proof of assets if the USC doesn't meet the 125% over poverty level.
You might want to ask some of the others what London requires. I'm not of any help to you on that point.

I-134, what supporting evidence?
I thought I'd add this on to this thread...
We're going through London, first of all.
I am aware we need a letter from my bank, a statement from my employer, and a notrized copy of my last tax return.
It's all really confusing to me because I've seen a lot of people in the forum talking about tax transcripts and the last 3 years of tax returns.
So, what is it that I need?
I'd really appreciate any clarifications.
Thanks in advance,
Dailyn

Re: I-134 Question!!!!!
We just needed a notarized return for the interview in London.
I believe the 3 years of transcripts are for the AOS application.

Details of requirements for London are here :
http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_web...faffidavit.htm
Hmmm, doesn't say 3 years of tax returns there, but, nevertheless, its easy to get tax transcripts of the last 3 years tax returns from the IRS and it's free

Better to play it safe and have it already gathered
You will need 3 years worth of tax returns when you come to file for AOS after marriage with the I-864
