Default I-134/bank info

I am sending the 1-134 to my fiancee . My income is well above the
poverty requirements, and I am wondering if it is necessary to include
my bank account info on the form since I will not be using any assets as
a means of support.

thanks for any assistance

Corey didn't have a bank account when we submitted our I134, and he was also above the poverty level. We had no trouble at all.

The answer is NO. All you need to send is 3 years tax returns. Nothing else
is required as long as your income exceeds the minimum 125% of the poverty
level guidelines.

Good Luck,
Dan

Do the tax returns need to be notorized or are just regular copies alright?

No they are not notarized. And not everyone needs tax returns. They are only needed for the I-134 if you are self-employed. Or IF the US Consulate asks for them in Package 3 they send you prior to your K-1 interview. For example, the US Consulate in London requires it. The US Consulate in Montreal does not.

Thank you Rita,
Our consulate is London and it was my understanding that they are just looking for one year of tax returns (per the consulate web site) but we'll wait until Mark actually gets the Packet 3 to see what they request before I send off the Affidavit. Not needing to be notorized is a good thing though, thanks for the info!

I just emailed the US consulate in London because I do not have three years of tax returns myself and they said that if I was not self-employed I did not need any tax returns at all. I home someone is not taking me for a ride....
