Complete the information below if you relative is in the Untied States and will apply for Adjustment of Status
Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in :

If this is a one-step case, put the office where the applicant intends
to reside as a permanent resident. Normally that is the same place
where the applicant is living now, but I can see cases where the
applicant and petitioner are temporarily separated (example: the
applicant is just finishing school and will move in with the petitioner
after the semester is over).
Although the National Benefits Center will preprocess the application,
eventually there will be an interview at the local office. That is what
this item addresses.
