I have a couple questions regarding this I-130, if anyone could help me I would
appreciate it a lot.

1) When Filing the I-130 do you need to include a Cover letter?? If so what
information does it have to include???

2) On the instructions is says to include the original and one copy for all documents
included (birth certificate, marriage cert. ect) What kind of copy do they
require? Is a photocopy enough???

3) We plan on filing for the K-3 once we get the reciept for I-130 do I need to state
this anywhere on the form?? or do I just check the box on Question 21 (Your
relative will apply for a visa abroad at the american consulate.)?????

Thank You in advance.......I can use any information I can get. I never knew wanting
to be with someone you love would be so hard and time consuming! But that's the price
for love I guess.........

No you don't. If you do include one, keep it simple just saying what you are
enclosing.

No you don't need to say anything about a K-3. Fill in the consulate details because
your relative is outside of the US (otherwise they would file an I-485 concurrently).

We didn't include a cover letter with our I-130 petition. It seemed pointless to do
so since our package was complete. Our strategy was to send only what they requested
and nothing more or less.
