I found this post on the I-130 messageboard. Has anyone else talked to a service center
agent and been told that the processing of all I-130's are on hold? I pasted the message
post below.

first NOA with the same timeline of 815 to 825 days to process and have been
going crazy for the last month. I have called the CSC repeatedly and been told
"oh yes, this is the normal time" I also was given the 29 to 30 days on the
recorded message which has now changed to the 815 to 825 days. But today I
talked to someone at the CSC that actually agreed with me that this timeline was
out of wack. She put me on hold to check out the situation and came back on to
tell me that at this present time the INS is not processing I-130 petitions. She
said they have been told at all the service centers to not process any more
I-130's by the people in charge (whoever that is) So it seems all 130's are on
hold at the moment. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but with a hope and a
prayer maybe they are stream lining the process. If anyone hears any news please
let me know.

I wonder if it has to do with all the I-130 petitions they're receiving from the LIFE Act.
I will be filing one soon and 815 days is a looooooong time.
