I-130 finally approved while on K3
I (US Citizen) sent DH's I-130 to TSC March 26,2002.
August 18, 2003 he received his K3 and came over on that.
April 24, 2004 his I-130 was approved.
What do we do? Follow the instructions that follow the I-130 approval, or just
do the long process of adjusting status instead?

Ash,
Here is the reply I got on a thread I started a few days ago about just this question- it was a good objective pro and con list about 130 vs AOS-hope it helps.
Please note that AOS for us through Atlanta will be at current rate over 2 years, meaning renewal of EAD. Granted a trip back to the UK wouldn't be cheap either, but it is an opportunity for my husband to "go home", even if it's only for a quick trip.
US
Medical
I-485
2 yr wait for more wait for AOS
Possible EAD renewal
Possible A/P costs
I-864 Free
Natualization Eligibility Delayed until residency obtained
Fee for Fingerprinting
UK
Medical
Consulate Immigration Fee
Fee for I-864 Processing
Residency Wait - Almost Instanteous
Travel - Freedom to Travel with limited restrictions based on time out of country
Naturalization Eligibility starts on entry at POE
No Fee for Fingerprinting
Cost of Travel (but gets to see family and friends)
That's my list.

That is up to you. If you want PR status quicker, then you have to
decide if it is worth to make the trip for the interview outside of the US.
