I-130 expiration time

I-130 expiration time
Hello,
Me and my husband started the visa process last summer and recorded the approval notice date back as 07.08.2015 we haven't done anything else since as I have only recently sorted out my USA taxes.
What I would like to know is does this form expire, have I left it to long or can I continue with the rest of the process now?

You get 12 months at each step of the process. I wouldn't leave it too much longer, in case of hiccoughs with the mail or lost documents by the processing department, but you're perfectly OK at the moment.
