I-130 approved, what's with I-485?

hi everybody.
i'm married to USC. we filed I-130 and I-485 in February of 2004 in
NYC.
on January 18th this year we had interview. everything went well but my
fingerprints expired so they sent me for new one. i did them right next
day. Lady that we had interview with said that it takes usually about
2-3 wekks for fingerprints to clear and then in another 3 weeks i could
have my Green card.
Last Thursday i checked staus of cases and it said that I-130 was
approved, nothing changed on I-485.
Anybody has any idea how that works?
I was kinda thinking that both cases should be approved at the same
time.
i'm happy that they approved at least one- means that they didn't
forget about me.

Any suggestions?

about 2 months after your interview, if nothing changes, make an Infopass appt, and find out the status of your case.
