Hello all,
US Citizen father applied for his over 21 (unmarried) son
for I-130 back in Sept '04. The I-130 just got approved.
The question is: can I-485 be filled in and sent in at
this time? Or does he need to wait for visa #?
The letter was not very clear.
THANKS!!

Hi, If i was you i would look on the visa bulletin board to see what year is being processed at the moment. You could also go to www.uscis.gov and look up your reciept number in the top left hand corner of your I- 130 approval. Type in the reciept number and it should tell you if it is current. If it is you can file the I-485. Hope this makes sense.
