Hello,
After a lousy day at work, I decided to check online the status of my
our I-130. To my surprise, it showed as having been approved! First
my Patriots win the SuperBowl, and now this!!

What happens now that the I-130 was approved BEFORE the K3? Which is
the best way to proceed?

Any comments and advice greatly appreciated!

I am in the same boat as u.
My I-130 was approved a few days after my K3. I'm waiting to hear
from my congressional asst. on which visa 2 go for.

Well, you don't exactly have a choice right now since the I-130 has been approved and the I-129f has not. You can't proceed with the K3 if the approved I-130 reaches the consulate first, something which is not that likely to happen since there are many steps that take place at the NVC after I-130 approval and before it is forwarded to the consulate. You don't state your NOA1 for the I-129f. http://travel.state.gov/spouse_fiance(e).html#1b If you don't mind waiting a few extra months, you could proceed with Immigrant Visa processing and your wife would enter with permanent resident status. If you're impatient and your I-129f gets approved soon, you can opt for K3 processing instead and then do AOS after she enters or continue with IV processing at the consulate, in which case she would have to go back to her country for the interview.
