I-130: "Address" and "last lived together"
I am filling out form I-130. My husband is currently in the US as a visitor. He is staying with me.
There are two places which ask for his address. They do not say "current address" or "residence." One is the second question of the form.
The other is the 21st question in which a married couple are asked to give the "last address at which you lived together."
I am thinking that the coherent ways to answer these questions are:
1) give my address for both the 2nd and 21st questions;
2) give his address abroad for the 2nd question and write N/A for "last address lived together."
It looks kinda funny to say that we are married but have never lived together!

Hmmm .. think I"m about to disagree with you. During the process of immigration I always gave my Spanish address. Hey .. we could have been living in an hotel during those proceedings ... honeymoon or whatever!
As to "last lived together" .. I seem to remember puting something about us being recently married and not having lived together.
Hope that helps. Jill

My I-130 was approved 16 months later so I guess those are valid answers.
Hope that helps!!

snowbunny,
I agree with Ian - the question is applicable, so provide a meaningful answer.

The questions are actually kind of fuzzy -- and to top it off, the Immigration & Nationality Act provides a definition which is somewhat at odds of the traditional legal definitions of "residence" and "domicile."
If you are talking about him on a true "visit" -- then put down his residence address abroad. On question #21 -- you might want to put something like "extended visits only" or some such.
