Hi all,
Just thought I'd post my update for everyone:
31st Dec 2001 - Mailed petition from Seattle to NSC on - sent certified with
return receipt.
Jan 4th 2002 - Return Receipt said it was delivered this day
Jan 9th - Personal cheque cleared
Jan 14th - USC Fiance received first NOA with a date of Jan 4th
I have a question though - my fiance told me that the number to call to check up on
your status is not a 1800#, I was under the impression that it would be. Is this
correct or does someone know of a toll-free # to call?
Thanks,
Luanne

I called the INS wondering the same thing. She said that they arent toll free #'s,
you call the Service Center directly. The INS 1800# can only help you if it has been
past the most days it states on your first NOA.. Sara
