I-129F at TSC?
I have recently submitted an I-129F to the TSC. They received it on Sept.
12, 2002. I am wondering if anyone can tell me what I can expect in terms of
time, and what happens next?
I looked at the TSC website but couldn't find any published processing
times. I have seen by reading this NG that there are apparently two NOAs
that I should be expecting. Can anyone tell me what those are, and what they
mean?
Thanks,
Bob

Sounds to me like you should check the www.k1faq.com website, if you haven't already, because they explain the basics of the process.
1st NOA = Notice of Action. The TSC will send you the first piece of paperwork telling you that they received your application on such and such a date, and that they are processing it as of such and such a date. It will have on it a receipt number that you can call the listed phone number with, and get the current status of your case.
2nd NOA = Notice of Approval. The second piece of paper TSC sends you, telling you that your application has (hopefully!) been approved. It seems to be taking around a month currently for the process to be completed and for that 2nd NOA to be issued.
As for the rest of the process, check out the website, and we're here for more queries
Good luck!!!

Oh! I've read every website I could find on the subject. I just haven't been
paying any attention to anything beyond filing the petition. Now that I've
done that I'm just wondering what's next? :-)
Thanks for the info!

TSC is processing K1 applications very fast nowadays, within 30 days,
after that it goes to the consulate and they send ur other half Pkg 3
for her to fill out and send back in, then schedule physical and
interview if needed depending on country...Mike C

Re: I-129F at TSC?
Someone please help.... I thought K-1/K-3's are to be mailed to the Chicago Service Center not Texas SC where I sent my I-130 application?
Does anyone know?... I'm going to go investigate some more right now... I thought I had already researched this thoroughly... now I'm confused and worried because we were about to mail the I-129F today (to Chicago)!!

Nevermind... I just read from the INS website that the difference is because I am a spouse, not a fiance...
Thanks anyway!
