Default Change in online status

Ours has changed too - our first notice was 23rd May (TSC) - I checked the online status this morning and it was the usual 150-180 days - then this evening (6.00 p.m) it now says... 15-21 days. Oh god please dont let this be a system error!!!

It looks like they just changed their standard message to say 15 to 21
days instead of 60 to 90 days. It doesn't necessarily mean that
anything has changed. If you call on the phone, you will get this
same status read to you.

Our K-3 NOA1 is 8/5/03. Which means that we have been waiting 62
calendar days or 45 working days. Does this mean that we are now over
the 30 day overdue limit?

Does anyone know if they mean calendar days or business days in their
status report?

I also checked the status of our I-130 at the California service
center. It now says 30 to 90 days instead of 800 or so that it said
before. We've been waiting 103 days or 74 working days since our
NOA1. So, we're getting close to the 90 days posted and I've heard
nothing.

It seems like they have not been working on any K-3's in Missouri or
I-130's in California for the last 2 months. Maybe there has been
pressure from people high up to get things moving again and speed up
processing times.

It definitely seems like things are moving again in Missouri. I read
in another post that they were processing 7/29/03 as of Friday, and
I've seen on the K-3 timeline that someone with an NOA1 of 7/22/03 got
their approval on Friday 10/3/03. So maybe there's hope.

At this point, I just hope someone can get Missouri to post new
processing dates. No post for 9/15/03, and still no post for 10/1/03.
Maybe they figured that since they haven't made any progress they
shouldn't advertise it by posting status.

I doubt it. I think this is a standard message that gets shown to
everyone.

They were probably getting a lot of heat for making no progress in the
last two months. So, instead of trying to catch up, they just changed
the estimated time hoping that would make people happy and get them
off their backs.

How about a new status report. That would be nice.

When I just went to see if it had changed back today, I couldn't get the request to process online.

Anyone else?

Default I-129F deadline changed

The same thing just happened to us here. Last week the website and the phone message said 150-180 days, now both say "15-21 days"!

Hope mixed with terror...that's how I'm feeling now

Just checked my 1-129F online with CSC this morning....like everyone
else I was totally surprised to see that it had been reduced from
65-115days to 15-21days. Not exactly a total shocker for me because
I've been waiting 125days already...but do have my fingers crossed
that its almost over

Same story here, checked online status with CSC today and its dropped
down to 15-21days (this is actually the second time its dropped,
firstly 205-235days to 65-115 and now this). I got really excited
until I started seeing postings on other sites...it seems all the SC's
have changed to this message!
Fingers crossed that it has some element of truth to it...

I think it is really important that people who are approved in the next days
report it to this group. If a bunch of approvals happen in the next couple
of weeks, maybe the 15-21 is accurate. If no increase in approvals, I will
have to assume the typo (150-210 days)..

Thanks everyone

I checked our case status this morning - 1st NOA July 7 through Nebraska and it has changed to 15-21 days from 150-180 days. I can't help but be sceptical.

Anyone know what's going on?

Default change of status

Apparently it's a glitch in the BCIS system. Someone called to verify and they stated it was an error. My 1st NOA was Sept 23rd and online it now shows 15-21 days. Obviously an error especially as I'm going through NSC. Sorry guys, not being negative but don't want everyone to get let down more by the NSC.

Hi Everyone,
It is 12:34 PST in California. I just checked our I-129f (K-3 spouse
visa). Still showing 15-21 days.

The Calif. Service Center is handling the I-130 and that now has
changed from over 800 days to 30-90 days.
I-130 - 1st NOA 7/11/03
I-129f - 1st NOA 9/3/03

What on earth is going on?

We called and they told us the 15/21 was an error. But it still shows on our online status page.
