Default I-129f Status Changed

I just checked the BCIS site as I do each day for any updates. The
processing time has changed from 60-180 days to 15-21 days....How can
that be?? We only received our first NOA on Sept 3. Is this normal to
have this change so quickly? The only thing I did was contact our
Congressman who sent me a letter saying they had contacted the proper
authorities regarding our case and to allow 45 days for a response.
Can this be true that our status can change this fast when other
people have been waiting for so long?
I am a US citizen and my husband is British, so are many others...I am
afraid to believe that the status has actually changed. I called the
service center in case what I was reading was a typo...the recording
stated the same 15-21 days! Has anyone had the same experience?
Thanks so much for any feedback.

That's fantastic ... but .. question is .. which service centre did you
apply through ??? Ours is California ... and our NOA #1 says expect 64 - 112
days to process ... although ... in actuality .. they are still working on
the end of April, 2003 which is more like 150 days .....

My case status says the same thing - 15-21 days. My 1st NOA is Sept
2, so I am just as surprised as you! I hope it is true that things
have speeded up so much, though to be honest I'm a bit skeptical and
am wondering if it is some system error...

Maybe they're actually changing things so that the online status actually counts down? That would be a novel diea...

Mine changed too, it's for a fiance visa and NOA1 was September 15, 2003.

I'm near tears because on one hand it's great news, but on the other hand, it seems too good to be true! I hope SOMEONE knows what to believe!

Default I-129f Status Changed info

Not only on line was mine changed; but the phone automated service has
changed to 15-21 days from 150-180 - I am on day 195. Cannot get though to
customer service (that's an oxymoron)

I did talk to Senator Biden D-DE (yes the Senator in person; I worked for
him in DC) I was told, by him, that the House was undergoing investigation
of this mater (meaning the long delays on K-1's) That was on last Friday. He
had his staff get back to me. When they did, I was told that are petition
was on the desk of case handler and would be processed within next week.I
was also told that 5 new employees had just finished training for handling
petitions at NCS. Maybe this is a sign for that...

I do not know what is going on; I am in shock like all of you.

Todd
