Hi, My fiancee and I were engaged friday 7th Dec. before I left to come home to
England after 3 fantastic weeks in sunny Wisconsin, US. We have had the forms for
some time and are now in a position to start work! So this is our first post.
Question..... at the very end of I129F are spaces for a 'G-28 ID Number' and a 'Volag
Number'. I have searched the FAQ with no luck.... can someone please tell me how my
fiancee should fill in these spaces? Graham/Jan

Graham:

Congrats on your recent engagement!

I believe those two lines are only applicable if someone other than your fiance (such
as a lawyer) were filling out the forms and submitting them on your fiance's behalf.
At least, that's what I had assumed, so the lines are blank on my application. If
someone has differing information, I'm sure they will let me know!

If you don't know what they are, you probably don't have one... fill in none. In
fact, unless you are trying to hide something, if you do not know what to put, just
put none. Knowing the government, Volag number probably means something like "Volume
and group" or something incomprehensible like that...

Group? What is Volag Number?

Thanks group..... from further investigation it does seem that Kristen and Jeff have
it right. According to http://www.mindspring.com/~docsteen/...o/visainfo.htm it
does seem that the G-28# at least is for a lawyer or similar to use....So we will put
'none'. Graham/Jan

Of course, unless you are an attorney with a G ID and Volag #, you = should leave it
blank. As well, it says right there, "Signature of = Person Preparing Form, If Other
Than Above:" so it should be pretty = clear.
