I-129f process
Could you correct me if I am wrong?
1. I submit 129-f and get NOA-1 when they receive it.
2 Application get approved and they send out NOA-2.
3. approved petition goes to NVC (how do I know when it is completed?)
4. Petition goes to the US consulate which in turn sends Packet 3 to my
fiancée
5. My fiancée returns all papers needed
6. The consulate sends Packet 4 with interview and medical information
5. If interview goes OK she can get fiancée visa right away
Thanks,
Bob

Sounds good to me!!! NVC should mail you something to let you know when it goes to the Consulate. Good luck.

Re: I-129f process
I think you're off on your 2nd #5.......
RU as well as other countries do not issue the visa when you are there
anymore. Actually, in RU you cannot go in with your fiancee anymore either.
(thanks to some bastard that lost his cool while in embassy with his
fiancee....)

Pretty close, just missing a few things:
A) Meet in person within two years
B) Fill out I-129f and compile it with all the other info such as G-325, pics, evidence, etc. Many good site to help prepare file.
C) About a week or so after service center received it they send you NOA1
D) After it is approved the send you NOA2, (Might be awhile)
E) NVC also gets notified and notifies you that they are forwarding it to the appropriate consulate. Time depends on what country he/she is in.
F) From there I only know about the Philippines. You can see how it goes from my timeline. Packet three and four are combined into a, "Kpacket" which also includes the interview appointment letter.
G) CFO course, two day medical exam, (Philippines) then interview.
H) Either an aproval or admin review. No Visa on the spot, it is send a week to ten days later.
Things change with the INS/BCIS and various consulate/embassy alomst on a weekly basis it seems. As many people here will claim, it can be a long and complicated process.
