o my god i can't believe how close i came to being banned from the us for life
before i even got there.....
this is what happened.....
my fiancé had £40 in english money left from his last trip over. a couple of
weeks ago he sent me the money in a birthday card. i left it in the card so it
wouldn't just get spent on housekeeping. today i realised i needed the money
for my trip to the embassy and hunted high and low but couldn't find the card
or the money.
hours later i thought the only place i hadn't looked was in the papers i had
neatly filed and packed up ready to take to the embassy later this week. and
there it was, in a plastic sleeve full of cards and letters as evidence of
relationship - a pretty card with £40 slipped inside. if i hadn't realised i
needed that money i wouldn't have looked back through all that stuff and would
have unknowingly handed over the money with my evidence. they would likely have
assumed i was trying to bribe them.
i don't know whether to cry or laugh but i thought the story might amuse.

As for Plan A, think he might ban you after he regains consciousness.

There won't be any sorrows to drown...all will be well, and you'll walk out of there feeling light as air and *calm*. Good luck, and be sure to write and let us know all the details!
