how to find out if case was received by NVC and sent out?
Hi,
just wondering, how can I check if our case (129F, which was
approved on Jan 8 2004) was received by NVC and was sent to Embassy in
Moscow?
I tried calling to NVC at 603-334-0700, but can't reach rep, because
getting disconnected after 18 minutes 53 seconds of waiting on line.
Automatic system says, that they don't have record of case.
What should I do?

You're a K Visa. You won't be in the automated system. You will have to speak to someone.
We had a problem w/getting disconnected too. Here's the Official Vik Advise: If it says that thing about "wait times are very long, so you may wish to call again later," just hang up. You're going to get disconnected anyway. Try again later, and when you get a msg that talks about it being ___ minutes, you' will probably get through.
And remember, they have late hours too. I'm thinking to somewhere around 8pm?

I called from WI to NVC several time around 6:15pm and got through right
away all except once. Other times of day simply did not work (wait
forever!!) Tne NVC still has not sent a notification that our application
was forwarded to the embassy in Mosow.. (it has been two weeks, lawyer
said "dont worry about it". Would still not know about it if fiance had
not been diligent enough to look at
